William Tower doesn’t just use a chainsaw, he operates it. Using special chains and blades Mr. Tower creates exceptional art work with being known for his specialty of the life like beaks and talons of the birds of prey he creates. Cute cuddly and welcoming bears to ferocious looking cats or maybe just a small simple creature to highlight a place in your home or maybe you just want an address marker.

Bill Tower’s world wide famous carvings are great to watch come to life. Bill accommodates and is always pleased to let people watch him perform the miracles of the wood with great precision. Watching Bill Tower create his artwork is a profound and amazing sight. I get wrapped up into a world where I don’t hear the cars on the highway. You can even have lunch with him on occasion but like all artists, if he is in a groove, he won’t stop until he works through it, unless of course you have a question.

A pleasant and intelligent man he has loved art all his life. One of his biggest glories is the sculpture of an eagle coming out of the splashing water with a trout, this also won him 2^nd place in a pro carving contest, this piece also sold before it was even done. Bill also does special requests and will go out of his way to make sure that what he creates is exactly what you are looking for.

With pieces being sold to all over the world, to famous and infamous people I consider it an honor to be able to freely watch something so profound and well known coming to life. As an artist myself, it is gratifying to me. I have seen many other carvers but none with the passion and detail this man has. His synergy with wood is spellbinding. Currently Bill is also planning on bronzing his eagles and dolphins.

Tower’s Chainsaw Creations are located right on Hwy 97, 30 miles South of Bend and his little forest of myriad creatures and lawn sculptures you can’t miss. He also has additional galleries located at Oregon Art, Springfield Gallery, Eugene
